Choosing color schemes for products, banners, blog post images, and any other graphics you design can sometimes be a challenge. That’s because there are so many different colors on the color wheel to choose from. It makes searching for just that right shade of blue a bit tricky.
Fortunately, you can get help from some free websites that are designed to make color scheme selection a bit simpler. These sites have tools that are easy and even fun to use. Let’s take a look at them.
Tools for Choosing Color Schemes
ColorHexa: Enter any color value and you’ll get color information, conversion, color schemes, shades and tints, alternatives, and more.
Coolors: Press the space bar and watch the colors change. You can enter in specific hex codes and lock colors you like.
Adobe Color: With Adobe Color, you can enter in color codes or upload a picture to get color schemes. If you have Adobe CC, this site is a very handy tool because you can save your color schemes to your account.
When I design, I don’t necessarily rely on just one of these sites. Sometimes I find it helpful to explore all of them to get just the right color scheme.
I hope these tools help you choose color schemes for your next project. Share this page with anyone else you know who struggles with getting just that right color.
